Timothy Shane Newton

Timothy Shane Newton, 47, of Zanesville, passed away February 5, 2017 at his residence, after a short battle with cancer.

He was born November 12, 1969 in Zanesville, son of the late, Herbert Ehrnfield, Gale Junior Newton and Vivian Klinger Newton.  He was a general contractor for several years.

He is survived by his wife, Amy Jerrells Newton; sons, Tony Newton, Skyler Jerrells; daughters, Tiffany Jerrells, Jazlynn Jerrells; brothers, Herbert Newton, Robert Newton, Eugene Bryant, John Wagner, James Wagner, Jerry Lewis; sisters, Tamela (James) Corbin, Julie Contreras, Holly Source, Susie Valentine, Brenda Aldred; grandchildren, Karsen Newton and Adrian Jerrells; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brothers, Gale Newton Jr., Randall Newton.

Calling hours will be held 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, February 8, 2017 and 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Thursday, February 9, 2017 at DeLong-Baker & Lanning Funeral Home, where services will take place at 11:00 a.m. Thursday February 9, 2017.  A dignified cremation will follow the service.
