Ruby L (Trout) Spring

Ruby L. Spring, 85 of Bexley, Ohio, formerly of McConnelsville, Ohio, passed away March 22, 2017 at Mt. Carmel East in Columbus, OH.

She was born April 3, 1931 in Zanesville, daughter of the late, Ralph Trout and Clara Wiseman Trout.  She was a member of the Main Street Church of Christ in McConnelsville, OH, where she was an organist, Sunday school teacher and youth leader.  She worked for the Morgan County Herald Newspaper for 23 years and was a book keeper for her family business. She played the piano/organ for 45 years at Main Street Church of Christ in McConnelsville.

She is survived by her children, Roger & Debra (Hall) Spring, Linda (Spring) & James Fryman, Russell & Barbara (Dille) Spring, Renita (Spring) & Michael Tackett, Carol (Spring) & David Mabon; brother, Donald (Mary Jo) Trout; sister, Doris Ross; sixteen grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Herman Ray Spring who passed away March 8, 2015.

Calling hours will be held 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Saturday March 25, 2017 at Main Street Church of Christ, in McConnelsville, where services will be held at 2:00 p.m. with sons-in law, David Mabon and Michael Tackett officiating. Burial will follow at McConnelsville Cemetery.
