Roger Kent Smith Sr.

Roger Kent Smith Sr. 55, of Zanesville, passed away August 24, 2016 at Grant Medical Center.

He was born March 21, 1961 in Zanesville, son of the late George Smith and Lura Ralph Smith.

He is survived by his sons, Rogie (Erica) Smith, Brian Smith, Craig Hellinger; brothers, Robert (Terri) Smith, Dave (Nancy) Smith, Jack (Irma) Smith, Mike (Myra) Smith; sisters, Linda (Tom) Wheeler, Barbara Ann (Robert) Norris, Margaret (Junior) Guthrie; sister in-law, June Smith; grandchildren, Emily, Emerson, Kamren, Karma, Kamden, Kingston; several nieces, nephews, cousin and friends.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his siblings, Doug Smith, Karen Clapper and Larry Smith.

Calling hours will be held 11:00 am to 1:00 pm Monday, August 29, 2016 at DeLong-Baker & Lanning Funeral Home, where services will take place at 1:00 pm with Pastor Keith Wyatt officiating.  Burial will follow at Zanesville Memorial Park.
