Robert A. Shesky

Robert A. Shesky, 77 of Zanesville, passed away July 6, 2017 at Genesis Hospital.

He was born September 18, 1939 in Zanesville, son of the late Alfred P. Shesky and Mildred M. Davis.  He retired from General Telephone Company and was a veteran in the United States Airforce. He attended Free Methodist Church.

He is survived by his significant other, Sandra Wood; sons, Randy (Peggy) Shesky, Raymond (Rita) Shesky, Rodney Leenerts, Rory Leenerts; brother, Louis (Kathy) Barr; sisters, Donna Vicki, Mary Ann Barr; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Eunice Shesky; son, Robert Leenerts; brother, Gary Barr.

Calling hours will be held 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Monday, July 10, 2017 at DeLong-Baker & Lanning Funeral Home, where services will take place at 12:00 p.m.  Burial will follow at Bloomfield Cemetery with full Military Honors conducted by the United States Air Force in conjunction with VFW George Selsam Post 1058 and the American Legion Post 29.
