Richard Eugene Seitz

Richard Eugene Seitz, 68, of Zanesville, passed away February 19, 2018 at Ohio State University Hospital.

He was born April 24, 1949 in York County, PA, son of the late, John Seitz and Grace Smith Northrop.  Richard was in the Stage Handlers Union and veteran in the United States Air Force.  He was a member of the St. John’s Lutheran Church.

He is survived by his wife, Brenda Larsen Seitz; son, Tim (Laura) Seitz; brothers, Bill Seitz, Tim (Sheryl) Seitz, Jim Northrop; grandchildren, Timothy, Amanda, Mariea, Andrew and Brandon Seitz.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Amanda Seitz; brothers, Keith, Randy and Mark Seitz.

Calling hours will be held 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Friday, February 23, 2018 at DeLong-Baker & Lanning Funeral Home. A private family service will take place at a later date.
