Pete W. Johnson

Pete W. Johnson Sr., 57, of Zanesville, passed away March 27, 2016 at Genesis Morrison House.

He was born in Zanesville, son of Harold Johnson and Rachel Ray Johnson.  He was veteran in the United States Navy.  He worked for the city of Zanesville water department.  He coached 5-12 year old Y-City Little League Baseball for eighteen years.  Pete was loved and will be missed by his family, friends and co-workers.

In addition to his parents he is survived by his wife, Sherry (Tilton) Johnson; son Pete Johnson 2nd; daughter, Stacy Offinger; brother, Jody Johnson; sister, Tracy Wade; grandchildren, Deric Offinger, Haly Offinger, Tykeyse Johnson; great-grandchild, Malia Gordon.

No services will be observed. A dignified cremation will take place per Pete’s wishes.  A memorial service will take place at a later date.
