Opal Marie King, 82, of Zanesville, passed away September 24, 2015 at Adams Lane Care Center.
She was born June 6, 1933 in Zanesville, Ohio, the daughter of the late Clarence and Elizabeth Adams Stevens. She worked at Frito-Lay of Madison Wisconsin and retired from Good Samaritan Hospital. She was a member of North Terrace Church of Christ.
She is survived by her daughter, Marlene (Terry) Gentile of Zanesville; sons, Harold (Barb) King, Jr. of Madison, Wisconsin and William (Bev) King, Sr. of Thornville, Ohio; sister, Kay Gibbens of Florida; grandchildren, Bridgette King, Brandi (Scott) Addis, William King, Jr., Dominic (Adriane) Gentile, Heather, Adam Gentile; great-grandchildren, Brooke, Trisha Luman, Kaylee, Caleb, Ryan Addis, Rylan Johnson-Gentile, Anthony, Alivia Gentile and great-great-grandchildren Aubrey, Madison and Parker.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold King, Sr.; brothers, Russell Stevens and Guy Stevens; sister, Mary Lou Bible and infant sister, Martha Stevens.
Calling hours will be held 12:00-1:30 pm Monday, September 28, 2015 at DeLong-Baker & Lanning Funeral Home, where services will begin at 1:30p.m. Pastor Bill Maiege will officiate.
Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery.
