Norma Joan (Pickenpaugh) Sims

Norma Joan (Pickenpaugh) Sims, 83, of Zanesville, went to be with the Lord, April 25, 2017.

She was born August 5, 1933 in Morgan County, daughter of the late Alva and Mazie Pickenpaugh.  She was a member of Trinity Full Gospel Church.

She enjoyed bowling, reading, camping and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her two daughters, Brenda Griffis, Tina (Randy) Archer; one son Michael (Barb) Sims; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren; step-sister Mary Ruth Brill.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her, son, Terry Sims; three sisters; two brothers; son-in-law, Gary Griffis; grandson, Karl Griffis.

Calling hours will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday April 28, 2017 at DeLong-Baker & Lanning Funeral Home 56. South 5th St. Zanesville, OH 43701.  Services will take place at 8:00 p.m. with Rev. Terry Rowland officiating.  A dignified cremation will take place following the service.
