Milton Weed Davis

Milton “Weed” Davis, 86, of Nashport, passed away January 24, 2016 at his residence surrounded by family.

He was born December 10, 1929 in Zanesville, son of the late Wallace Davis and Dorothy Philley Davis.  He retired from Owens Corning Fiber Glass and was member of the American Legion.  He was a United States Army veteran, serving during the Korean Conflict.  He was avid hunter, fisher and loved playing cards.  He enjoyed and loved being around his family.

He is survived by his wife, Nellie Hursey Davis, whom he married March 7, 1959; daughter, Trudy (Harry) Moore of Nashport; grandchildren, Harry (Jessy) Moore of Nashport, Serena (Stacie) Moore of Nashport; great-grandchildren, Paisleigh and Colt Moore; sisters, Louise Decker of Zanesville, Clara Davis of Zanesville; brother in-law Howard Watson; sister in-law Kris Davis; several nieces and nephews; special pet, Peanut.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.

No services will be observed. A dignified cremation will take place.
