Mary K. Smith

Mary K. Smith, 77, of Zanesville, Ohio, passed away July 31, 2015 at Genesis Hospital.

She was born August 23, 1937 in Muskingum County, daughter of the late Clyde I. and Theora M. Nichols Hague.  She worked for Longaberger for fourteen years and was a member of the American Legion and Eagles.

She is survived by her sons, Jeffrey (Vicky) Smith and David (Jodi) Smith; daughters, Delilah (Conard) Newell and Karen (Steve) Moorehead; step-son, James Thorp; step-daughter, Carla Bolin; brother, Robert Hague and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Gary Smith; brothers, Frank, Clyde “Bud” and Gary Hague and sisters, Irene Chaney and Sheila Brown.

Calling hours will be held 2-4 & 6-8 pm Tuesday, August 4, 2015 at DeLong-Baker & Lanning Funeral Home, where services will be held 11:00 am Wednesday, August 5, 2015. 

Burial will follow at St. Paul’s Cemetery.
