Marjorie R. (Smith) Jenkins

Marjorie R. Jenkins, 83, of Zanesville, passed away January 23, 2016 at Genesis Hospice Morrison House.

She was born April 23, 1932 in Zanesville, daughter of the late James and Marie Mitchell Smith.  She worked at Essex Wire and United Technology for several years.  She attended Bethel Community Center and was a member of American Legion Post 29.

She is survived by her children, Jerry Jenkins, Jeffery Jenkins, Julie Jenkins and Judy Stout; brother, James “Jim” Smith; sister, Sharon Smith; several grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Russel Munn and Fred Jenkins; brothers, Gerald Smith, Kenneth Smith, Ronnie Smith, Harley Smith, Donald Smith and Grant Smith; sister, Imogene Middleton, Clarice Tyo and grandchildren, John and Justin Jenkins.

Calling hours will be held 5-7 pm Tuesday, January 26, 2016 at DeLong-Baker & Lanning Funeral Home, where services will take place Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at 11:00 am with Pastor Gerry Wade officiating. 

Burial will follow at Zanesville Memorial Park.
