Karen S. Brown

Karen S. Brown, 66, of Zanesville, Ohio, passed away after a long battle with cancer on Friday July 10, 2015 at her residence surrounded by her family.

She was born May 27, 1949 the daughter of the late George, Sr. and Edna Daniel.

Karen was sweet, kind, very strong and loved by everyone she met.

She had survived breast, skin and pancreatic cancer throughout her life.

She is survived by her three daughters, Karen and Loretta Brown and Tawna (Keith) Fowler; sisters, Judy (Paul) Leasure and Michelle Tucker; brother, Robert Daniel; sisters-in-law, Sheila and Tina Daniel; granddaughters, Tiffany Brown and Brittany and Ashley Fowler; grandson, Coty Brown; great-granddaughter, Ciauna Mayle; a best friend, who was like a sister, Cynthia Todd; some close nieces and nephews, as well as some very special friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded by her brothers, George, Jr, and Edward Daniel; and three sisters, Leah Sharpe, Michelle (Paul) Tucke

The family will hold a memorial service for Karen at 11:00 AM Saturday, July 18, 2015, at Grace United Methodist Church, 516 Shinnick St., Zanesville, Ohio 43701.
