Joan Patrice (Kirkbride) Cooper

Joan Patrice Cooper, 82, of Zanesville, passed away January 7, 2017 at Genesis Morrison House.

She was born January 24, 1933 in Zanesville, daughter of the late, Gilbert Kirkbride and Ruth Sites Kirkbride.  She was a member and treasure of the Muskingum Valley Boating Association and member of the South Zanesville United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Richard Cooper; son, Richard (Rose Ann Morrison) Gristak of Colorado; daughters, Cynthia Lloyd of Florida and Ruth (John) Orr of Illinois; sister, Gloria (Hue) Mayle of California; several grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; special friends, Martha Persinger and Susan Sands.

Calling hours will be held 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Monday, January 9, 2017 at DeLong-Baker & Lanning Funeral Home, where services will take place at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Dedra (Dee) Rader officiating.  Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery.
