Jarrett Lee Head

Jarrett Lee Head, 16, of Mt. Perry, went to be with the Lord, February 16, 2018.

He was born May 2, 2001 in Zanesville, son of Todd Head and Jodi Kinder Head.  Jarrett attended West Muskingum High School and the Mid-East Career and Technology Center in Zanesville, where he was training to be a Power Lineman.  He was a West Muskingum High School varsity football player.  He also played baseball and archery for the school.  He was an avid hunter, fisherman and trapper.  He was a true outdoors man.

In addition to his parents he is survived by his brother, Tristen Head; grandparents, Jack and Peg Kinder, Jack and Susan Head; uncles, Jack Kinder Jr., Joe (Kimmy) Kinder, Chad (Heather Lancaster) Head, Joshua (Caity Converse) Head; aunts, Paula (Todd) Watts, Kathleen (Steve) Smout, Jenni (Mark) Lane, Casey Head, Toni Head; cousins, Kylie, Wyatt and Tori Head, Hailey Quickle, Hailey Hanning, Andrea Head, Dakota Converse, Scout Converse, Mack Miller, Ashley, Logan and Jacklynn Watts, Caleb Bright, Sarra Rust, Brandon Runyon, Ashley and Michael Sprouse, Brad, Matthew, Samantha, Hana and Megan Lane, Jaggar, Gavin and Jacob Kinder; great-grandmother, Carolyn Denton; special girlfriend, Terin Seevers. Best friend and hunting buddy Jake and loved pets, Kali and Annie.

He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Eleanor McDonald, Phyllis Stevens, Vivian Kinder, George and Dorothy Head, Paul Denton.

He was loved by many friends and other family members.

Calling hours will be held 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at DeLong-Baker & Lanning Funeral Home, where services will be held Wednesday, February 21, 2018 at 11:00 a.m with Pastor George Bates officiating.  A dignified cremation will follow the service.  A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
