Janice M. (Corder) Beal

Janice M. Beal, 73, of Zanesville, passed away April 8, 2016 at her residence surrounded by her family.

She was born August 28, 1942 in Zanesville, daughter of the late Raymond Corder and Agnes McGraw Corder.  She worked as a caregiver and was a member of the Zanesville Eagles and Local VFW Auxiliary.

She is survived by her sons, Ronald (Kathy) McPherson of Zanesville, Jimmy (Misty) Roberson of Texas; daughters, Deborah Cook of Georgia, Cindy (Paul) Freeman of Georgia, Mary Jo (David) Romine of Zanesville, Charlene McPherson of Zanesville, Janis Renae (Corey Jenkins) Beal of Zanesville; sisters, Darlene Husband, Peggy Hartman, Christine Peters, Melody Harmon; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

 In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her significant other of twenty-nine years, Billie Cable; son-in-law, Wimberly Cook; brothers, Raymond Corder, Charles Corder, William Corder; sisters, Dorothy Havens, Maxine Corder and grandson, Paul McDonald.

Calling hours will be held 2-4 & 6-8 Monday, April 11, 2016 at DeLong-Baker & Lanning Funeral Home where services will take place Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at 11:00 am.  A private family burial will take place at a later date.
