James Herbert Hughes

James Herbert Hughes, 72, of Norwich, passed away December 22, 2016 at Genesis Hospital. 

He was born May 31, 1944 in Cambridge, son of the late Herbert Hughes and Christine Gibson Hughes.  He was an antique dealer in Zanesville and a veteran of the United States Navy Seabees serving in Vietnam.

He is survived by his daughters, Jennifer (Ralph Jr.) Harvey of Athens, Jamie Miller of Westerville; brothers, Larry (Jo) Hughes of Columbus, Robert Hughes of Norwich, Kevin (Marsha) Hughes of Norwich; sisters, Marilyn (Jim) Beisser of Zanesville, Diane (Gordon) Spillman of Plainfield, Cheryl Hohl of Newark; grandchildren, Lauren Harvey, Gavin Miller, Chole Harvey, Harper Miller, Tristan Harvey, and many nieces and nephews.

No services will be observed. A dignified cremation will take place.
