Homer Lindsay More

Homer Lindsay More, 92, of Zanesville, passed away May 25, 2016 at Genesis Hospital.

He was born September 12, 1923 in New York, New York, son of the late Homer Morgan More and Marion Edith Lindsay.  He owned and operated Lindsay Restoration in down town Zanesville on the corner of 5th and South St.    

His ancestry predated the American Revolution.  He was a veteran who served during WWII, member of Disabled Americans, American Legion of Zanesville, and Sons of the American Revolution.  Lindsay believed in taking herbs and that allopathic medicine was all about making money and not helping people.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister, Mary Edith More.

Calling hours will be held 12-2 pm Saturday, May 28, 2016 at DeLong-Baker & Lanning Funeral Home, where services will be held at 2:00 pm with Pastor Burt Kinsey officiating.  Burial will take place at a later date in Roxbury, New York.

Lindsay was a unique individual and will be missed by all his friends.
