Gerald F Lane

Gerald F. Lane, 74, of Sonora, passed away August 16, 2017 at Genesis Hospital.

He was born December 13, 1942 in Zanesville, son of the late, Denzel Lane and Cora Tilton Lane.  He was a veteran in the United States Army and was an owner operator truck driver.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara Huffman Lane; sons, Jerry Lee (Rhonda) Lane, Danny (Lorie) Lane; daughters, Sherrie (Mike) Hutton, Kimberley (Jamie) Bender; brother, Leon Lane; sister, Mary (Tom) Wisecarver; several brothers and sisters; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by several siblings.

Calling hours will be held 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., Monday, August 21, 2017 at DeLong-Baker & Lanning Funeral Home where services will take place at 12:00 p.m.  Burial will follow at St. Paul’s Cemetery, Sonora, OH with full Military honors conducted by the United States Army in conjunction with the VFW George Selsam Post 1058 and American Legion Post 29.
