Emma Sue (Lucas) Ferguson Johnston

Emma Sue Ferguson Johnston, 83, formerly of Zanesville, passed away July 11, 2016 at Mt. Carmel East in Columbus, OH.

She was born May 27, 1933 in Zanesville, daughter of the late Rolley Lucas and Lena Jones Lucas.  She retired from United Technologies, was a member of Y-city Women’s Club and the American Legion.

She is survived by her son, Douglas Ferguson of Minnesota; daughter, Kathy Smith of Columbus; granddaughter, Brandi Smith; great-grandchildren, Kelton and Corrine all of Columbus.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Roger Johnston; brother, Robert Lucas; sisters, Kathleen Wilkins, Lillian Jones and Charlotte Hartman.      

A private family burial will take place at Zanesville Memorial Park.
