Elda L. (Fox) Blake

Mrs. Elda L. Blake, 74, of Cambridge, Ohio, went to be with the Lord on November 4, 2015. 

She was born on September 17, 1941 in Baltimore, Maryland, daughter of the late William Richard Fox and Francis Marie Blackstone.  Mrs. Blake retired in 1996 from Good Samaritan Medical Center, Zanesville, Ohio.   She and her husband attended Countryside Baptist Church (Port Washington). 

She is survived by her husband, Charles Frederick Blake, of 53 years; two sons, Rev. Mark (Barbara) Blake, of Monroe, Michigan and Todd (Joylynn) Blake. of Dallas, Texas; brother, Richard E. Fox, of Greenville, South Carolina and sister, Connie Sue (Raymond) Blackstone, of Gratiot. Mrs. Blake was blessed with six grandchildren: Kathleen, Jacob, Calvin, Madelyn, Parker and Eliza, whom she loved dearly. 

Friends and family may call from 4-7 P.M. on Sunday, November 8, 2015 at DELONG-BAKER & LANNING FUNERAL HOME, 56 SOUTH 5TH STREET, ZANESVILLE, OHIO, where funeral services will be held at 10:30A.M. Monday, November 9, 2015.

Elda will be laid to rest at Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery.
