Darlene A (Bunting) Barker

Darlene A. Barker, 79, of Zanesville, passed away December 7, 2017 at Genesis Hospital.

She was born February 2, 1938 in Zanesville, daughter of the late, Ralph Bunting and Pearl Brahler Bunting.  She was a member of St. Nicholas Church and graduated from Bishop Rosecrans.  She retired from Akro Rug Company.

She is survived by her daughter, Christina Hutcheson of Zanesville; sons, Jeff Barker of Nashport, Brian Barker of Marion, Pat Barker of South Zanesville; brother, Ted (Helen) Bunting of Thornville; brother-in-law, Bill Carpenter of Zanesville; eleven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Donna Carpenter; niece, Beth Carpenter; great-nephew, Sean Carpenter.

Calling hours will be held 2-4 and 6-8, Sunday, December 10, 2017 at DeLong-Baker & Lanning Funeral Home, where services will take place at 1:00 p.m. Monday, December 11, 2017 at Zanesville Memorial Park.
