Daniel Nathan Witherow

Daniel Nathan Witherow, 41, of Zanesville, passed away May 11, 2017 in Columbus, Ohio.

He was born January 16, 1976 in Riverside California, son of Linda Geiman Witherow and the late, James Witherow.  He was the pastor at Grace Wesleyan Church in Zanesville and also worked at Rumpke Consolidated in Columbus, Ohio as, in his words, a “Sanitation Engineer Extraordinaire.”

Like his own father, Daniel had a love for aviation and working with his hands. He spent every spare moment with the love his life, Sara, and his children.  He devoted his life to God and was a pillar in his community and church.  He loved his family, church, and friends. His death creates a loss that can never be filled, and he will be greatly missed by many.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Sara Parsons Witherow, whom he married April 22, 2000; children, Nichole Witherow, Matthew Witherow, Kortney Witherow, Addison Witherow; brothers, Timothy (Sherry) Witherow, Peter (Heather) Witherow, Esther Witherow, Rebecca Andrews; His father-in-law and mother-in-law Mike and Martha Parsons, brothers-in-law Dave (Carla) Parsons, Dan (Amy) Parsons and sister-in-law Becky (Chuck) Schaben; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Calling hours will be held Monday, May 15, 2017 from to 5-8:30 p.m. at Grace Wesleyan Church, 505 Pine St, Zanesville, OH 43701, where services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 16, 2017, with calling hours an hour prior to service.
