Carole Sue (Moore) Tyson

Carole Sue Tyson, 71, of Zanesville, passed away, 5:35 a.m. January 3, 2017 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.

She was born May 31, 1945 in Dresden, Oh, daughter of the late Paul Moore and Betty Suttles Moore.  She was owner operator of Tyson Floor Care and a member of the Norval Park Church of Christ.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.  Through her church she crocheted blankets for new born babies at the area hospitals and residences of area nursing homes.  

She is survived by her daughters Lisa (Marty) Tobias of Zanesville, Vickie Tyson of Zanesville, Shelly (Hughie Nykile) Tyson of Zanesville; brother, Michael Moore of Columbus; grandchildren Ashley (Andre) Bruce, Stephanie (Eric) Bunting, Lindsey, Lexie and Lacey Tyson; great-granddaughters Jayda Stone, Olivia Bunting and great-grandson, Parker Bunting; special friends, Laurie Kingery, Jo Ann Sowers;  brother-in-law, Henry “Hank” Boles of Newark; sisters-in-law, JoAnn Barker of Michigan, Martha (Bill) Hart of Cincinnati; several nieces, nephews, friends.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, John R. Tyson whom passed away March 15, 2015; several brothers and sisters; and beloved pet, Rusty.

Calling hours will be held 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Thursday, January 5, 2017 at DeLong-Baker & Lanning Funeral Home and 1000 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 6, 2017 where services will take place at 11:00 a.m.  Cremation will follow the service.
