Mary J. Teetz, 94, of Zanesville, passed away at 8:55 am Friday, June 8, 2012 at Genesis Good Samaritan Medical Center. She was born April 4, 1918 in Roseville, Ohio the daughter of the late John and Cora Belle Page Thompson. She was formerly employed by Maysville IGA and was a charter member of the Zanesville Eagles Ladies Auxilliary. She loved playing bingo and cards. She is survived by her son Charles A. (Donna) Teetz of Zanesville, grandchildren Pamela Varner, Tina Pheaster and Michelle (Chris) Montgomery, seven great grandchildren, one great- great grandson and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded by her husband Charles A. Teetz, daughter Mary Belle McConnell, brothers Frank and Robert Thompson and sister Annabelle Headley. Friends may call from 4-6 pm Monday, June 11, 2012 at DeLong-Baker & Lanning Funeral Home where services will be at 11:00 am Tuesday, June 12, 2012. Interment will be at Rosehill Cemetery.
