Eva Mae Moore, 94, of 1856 Adams Lane, Zanesville, formerly of Sonora, passed away at 11:22 pm, Thursday, May 10, 2012 at Genesis Hospice Morrison House. She was born March 20, 1918 in Madison Township Muskingum County, the daughter of the late William Reese and Lida Garrett Ayers. A seamstress most of her life, she was a member of the Sonora United Methodist Church and loved to quilt, embroider, read and listen to country music. She was an avid square dancer. She is survived by daughters Wanda Founds of Chandlersville, Sharon (Paul) Krause of Zanesville, Elsie Cronin of Northbrook, Illinois, sons Duane (Kay) Moore of Zanesville, Kenneth Moore of McConnelsville, sister Lillian Allen of Waynesville, North Carolina, twenty-five grandchildren and several great grandchildren and great great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded by her husband Harry A. Moore, who passed away November 14, 1980, sons Robert and Russell Moore, sister Margaret Fortenbacher and sons-in-law Virgil Founds and Jim Cronin. Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 pm Saturday at DeLong-Baker & Lanning Funeral Home, where services will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday, May 13, 2012 with Rev. Tom England officiating.
