Marilyn R. McCarty, age 76 of Zanesville, passed away at 1:02 am Wednesday, May 9, 2012 at the Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital. She was born October 12, 1935 in Zanesville the daughter of the late William and Louise Denning. She is survived by her husband James McCarty, sons Daniel (Rita) McCarty of Illinois, David McCarty of Hawaii, James (Carol) McCarty of South Zanesville, Todd McCarty of Columbus, Frank (Jennifer) McCarty of Adamsville, daughters Victoria (Rick) Hall of Philo, Catherine (John) Wells of White Cottage, April Wells of Zanesville, sisters Anne Crouch of Indiana, Bertha (Bob) McBride of Zanesville, grandchildren Seth Hall, Clifford McCarty, Mark McCarty, Josh McCarty, Katie McCarty, Jennifer Hannahs, Ryan Hannahs, Jon Agar, Tammy Allison, Danny McCarty, Terri McCarty, Roselinda McCarty, Candice McCarty, Heather Oates, David McCarty Jr., Jon McCarty, and several great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son Brian McCarty, daughter Lora (Suzie) McCarty and brothers Joseph Denning and William Denning. Friends may call Friday from 6 pm to 8 pm, May 11, 2012 at DeLong-Baker & Lanning Funeral Home, where services will take place Saturday, May 12, 2012 at 11 am. Burial will follow at Williams Cemetery.
